Our Lovely Hinterland

The Plumbers had a lovely bush site in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland this week. It was nice to escape the heat somewhat. A job that truly showcases Avena Plumbing & Drainage even more the success and skills in all aspects of Drainage, Plumbing and Excavation. At the start of the week the Plumbers cleared loads of massive tree stumps from this site. Numerous large cut trees were dragged into position ready to build a rustic bush retaining wall. Then the battering began. Excavation, moving and cutting the ground neatly ready for pathways, driveways and access for this beautiful home site.

Quality Assurance

Certainly a superb eye for and knowledge of Drainage, Plumbing & Excavation was required. The site is located on a very steep bushy hill. First of all everything needed to be set up correctly. For the reason that an accessible site for the rest of the trades would be able to come in and finish this lovely home. Consequently we discussed erosion and ground movement with the owners. As a result came up with a solid drainage plan to make sure the job could be finished perfectly and safely.

Finally a stunning timber log and a bush rock retaining wall came together for stability and extra drainage.

Job Well Done

The last step for this week which was to complete the drainage for this home. Almost ready for the concrete slab to be poured. Most importantly everything went to plan and as a result our customers are really happy.  Soon after this stage was completed there was a large storm bringing huge lots of rain and wind. Our customers messaged us the day after the storm saying “they were extremely happy with the drainage on the site. All our expert work handled the storm easily”. Furthermore we look forward to coming back to this lovely home-site to complete the rest of the plumbing.
